On January 8, 2014, my son and I took a ride to Iron Pier in Riverhead, NY. It was extremely cold and windy, but that didn’t stop us from taking photographs of Mother Nature’s Beauty. The Long Island Sound hasn’t experienced freezing cold temperatures and frozen water in years. The frozen water that surrounded the piers looked like white satin had ben draped around them. I don’t ever remember seeing ice create something so beautiful.
